1.. “Don’t Scratch - You’ll make it worse!”
For this medically themed project, I was inspired by Joe’s outbreak of eczema, which was at the time in a rage all over both of his arms. A trip to plymouth university to look at slides also aided my visual interpretation.
Using elements of his very own, personal body adornment i decided to create knitted fabrics for garments using a combination of domestic intarsia, dubied double-bed stitch transfering and handknit to translate the textures and details on his arms.
