Joe and I are moving into our flat on the 13th and I cant wait for us to get settled and to finally have our own place at last! Its a two bedroom flat that’s the upstairs in a Victorian house, the kitchen and living room are rather cosy and it has feature fireplaces in there and the bedroom! we’re planning on using the spare room as our studio for all our final year working.. what a scary thought, this time next year I will have GRADUATED. I hope this year is a good one.

I drew this deer whilst on the train coming up from London after we found our house and it is rather apt for how i felt yesterday. Summer is almost over and theres still lots of summer project work to be done. I have been rather consistent juggling projects and dissertation reading over the past month though but I could do with picking up some momentum. I’m slightly worried that the move back down to London is going to put me behind a little bit. I am currently working on my colour project, swatches.

Every time I have mentioned this to anyone, they have asked me “what IS a swatch exactly??” and even I have struggled to give a definition. Therefore I am hoping what i have created for a ’swatch’ is going to be okay.
